What is a Nappy Cake?

A nappy cake is a number of nappies that are rolled up or folded to make a gift tower (like a wedding cake), typically 1, 2 or 3-tiers tall. The bottom tier has enough nappies tied together to form a base. The nappies are tied together with either an elastic band or tape which is then covered with an attractive ribbon or baby items such as a bath towel, muslin or bib. We also sell many baby essentials, keepsakes, baby clothing bouquets, sock cupcakes, muslin lollipops and much more…
We have two different styles of nappy cakes. One style is the arrangement of nappies that are held together with ribbon and the nappies visible. The other style is a nappy cake that uses baby clothes to cover up the nappies. Baby clothes such as bodysuits, bibs, towels, etc. that are wide enough and folded in such a way that the nappies are hidden like icing on top of a cake.

You can design your own Nappy Cake to suit your requirements and budget. See the right hand panel click “Nappy Cakes” for ‘Design your own Cake’ info. Or if you would like me to change another cake around etc. I can do it! You may want to add your own soft toy or other items too, I am here to help and make you the best nappy cake possible.

If you have a budget and unsure what you can get for it, I am happy to give you some ideas via email. Some of our nappy cakes are bespoke, these are designed when a customer wants to change a cake around and mix it with another or add extra items etc. There is no charge for this service and everything is agreed before payment it made.
